Fire Dozers & Sheriffs Responding to a Major Wildfire near Lake Tahoe CA

The Tamarack Fire. This rapid rate of spread wildfire is around 21,000 acres with 0% containment. 2 structures have been destroyed at this time and a massive column of smoke can be seen for miles. Structure protection has been successful for the most part in the area of the fire as it moves towards Woodfords. With the upcoming red flag warning and dry lightning this fire could become even more dangerous than it has been today.
