Description - Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra became first Indian Athlete to win an athletics gold medal in Olympics. Neeraj Won the Javelin Throw Gold Medal by hurling the javelin to 87.58 meters. This is India's only second individual Gold Medal at Olympics. Abhinav Bindra had won the first Ever Individual Gold Medal for India In Olympics. Before this, Neeraj had qualified for the finals of Javelin throw with his first ever throw at Tokyo Olympics. Neeraj had become first ever Indian javelin thrower to qualify for the finals at Olympics by hurling the javelin to 86.65 meters. the qualification mark was set at 83.50 meters and Neeraj Topped the qualification round.
