S. Korea, Russia chief nuclear negotiators hold talks to ensure peace on Korean Peninsula

Also in Seoul... South Korea's chief nuclear envoy, Noh Kyu-duk... met with his counterpart from Russia, Igor Morgulov.
According to the foreign ministry, they discussed ways to achieve complete denuclearization and lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Noh asked for Moscow's support in bringing Pyeongyang back to the negotiating table.
Morgulov agreed that it's important to resume talks with the North,... and said Russia will contribute to bringing peace to the Korean Peninsula.
He also invited Noh to Russia for further discussions.
This was the first meeting between these two officials,... coming more than two-and-a-half years since the Russian envoy last came to Seoul.
