As of Thursday evening, Snapchat was experiencing a major outage, with more than 125,000 users reporting issues on Downdetector.

I attempted to log into the app on my iPhone 12 Mini, but it now crashes every time I try to open it.

Two other Verge employees are also unable to open the app.

The outage comes after a serious problem that caused a version of the iOS Snapchat app to crash at debut in June.

As always, I recommend paying attention to the Twitter memes - they should be a pleasant diversion until Snapchat is restored.
