The Govt Middle School, Lalpur-16th Mile of Jairampur in Dilapidated conditions|

The government of Arunachal Pradesh under Chief Minister Pema Khandu have declared 2021 as "the year of education." And moreover, under Chief Minister's flagship scheme- called The Chief Minister Samast shiksha Yojana (CMSSY), the GoAP has sanctioned 4Cr (four crore) to each district of the state in order to "bridge the infrastructural gap" in the education sector. However, the Govt upper primary school of 16th Mile in Jairampur circle of Changlang district is in worst state and the students as well as teaching staffs faces innumerable hardships owing to this dilapidated conditions of school building.

Apart from that, GUPS, 16th Mile has been upgraded very recently in the year 2016 by local MLA of Jairampur-Nampong Legislative Constituency- Shri. Laisam Simai. And as per CMSSY-2018-2019 & 2019-2020, at least ten pairs of Desk and bench including white boards were provided and Minor maintenance work was also executed. However, on the ground it is completely opposite as shown in the video.

Further, due to lack of proper boundary wall and fence, the teaching staffs are concerned about the security of school premises and its properties. As in many occasions, celling fans, black/white boards are often lifted by thieves.
