Addressing the inaugural session of the Indian Air Force (IAF) national conclave in Bengaluru, Union minister Rajnath Singh Friday said the Indo-Pak war of 1971 is one of the few wars in history that was fought to protect the dignity of humanity and democracy and not to acquire territory or grab power. "Indian Forces fought synergistically on western and eastern fronts and demonstrated prowess in the air, over land and in the sea.," the defence minister added.
