Numaligarh, Golaghat district of Assam, 21 October 2021. This elephant herd is returning from paddy field and migrating to a nearby tea estate for shelter in daytime. Often this type of situation arise when they migrate, especially where human villages are there. They become more aggressive and protective when baby elephants are there in the herd.
