Furious Swayne savages Boris government for restricting liberties of UK citizens: Appalled!

Sir Desmond Swayne persists with his fight against Boris Johnson's government restrictions.



Speaking to MPs in the Commons, Sir Desmond Swayne said he was “appalled” at the “diminution in our liberties”.

Sir Desmond warned: "There is a danger that the state has learned a powerful lesson - namely, that the British people do not worry too much about their liberties and that they can be dispensed with conveniently when need arises."
