The Majority Report crew discuss how Irving’s explanation adds to the contrarian rut and how he is the small minority of NBA players choosing not to get vaccinated against Covid.

Emma Vigeland: Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving, one of the best players in the league has refused to get vaccinated and because of New York City and Brooklyn statutes and regulations. He is unable to play in any home games because of that now, the Nets subsequently made a decision that because he would be unable to play in half of the games during the season that they don't want him to participate in any basketball-related activities until he comes into full compliance. This is pretty nuts, but he is holding his ground, he would be making 40 million dollars this year and I'm still unsure of how this affects his contract, but here he is on Instagram live trying to explain his decision that to anybody with any semblance of sanity is absolute uh insanity!
