Gaboon Viper
The Gaboon viper is a large venomous snake native to Sub-Saharan Africa. It has the longest fangs, up to 5 cm long, and the most venom. Even though they are calm and rarely bite humans, their bite can be fatal. The head is large and triangular, with a thin neck. There are two "horns" between the raised nostrils. The eyes are large and move easily. A series of pale, sub rectangular blotches run down the center of the back, punctuated by dark, yellow-edged hourglass markings. The flanks are a series of rhomboidal fawn or brown shapes with light vertical bars in the center. The belly is pale with irregular brown or black blotches. White or cream in color, with a fine, dark central line, black spots on the back corners, and a dark blue-black triangle behind and below each eye.
The iris can be cream, yellow-white, orange, or silvery in color this Gaboon viper feeds on everything from mice to birds to young antelope and monkeys. It makes no difference if you make a minor error. There is no getting away from her once she has set her sights on a subject. Her strike isn't the fastest in the snake world, but it gets the job done at more than 20 feet per second. Greyhound
This dog was in pursuit of some young springboks and managed to kill two of them. That’s quite impressive for a dog. Greyhounds are gentle and calm dogs, but they are also excellent hunters. They are biologically programmed to chase, catch, and sometimes even kill fast-moving small animals this greyhound looks for a rabbit hiding in the vicinity and after a little searching, he finds what he’s looking for.
