Homelessness: After all the time & effort, why is it getting worse?

Homelessness is number one issue on the mind of Seattleites. "Compassion Seattle," a proposal that offered a different approach to homelessness, did not make the November ballot. Many people are asking, "What now? Is there a better idea? How can we make progress on this complicated problem? What are our best chances for a solution- or, solutions?" Seattle University's Institute of Public Service holds a discussion on "Homelessness: After All the Time and Effort, Why Is It Getting Worse?"

Speakers:
Marc Dones, CEO of the King County Regional Homelessness Authority
Mayor Jenny Durkan, City of Seattle
Tiffani McCoy, advocacy director for Real Change news
Jon Scholes, president and CEO of the Downtown Seattle Association
