IELTS Writing Task 1 | Pie chart and Table Comparison | Detailed Explanation in Malayalam | Academic

The IELTS Writing Task 1 asks you to write a summary of at least 150 words about some visual information, usually in the form of a graph or chart. You will need to pick out the main features and describe and compare the data given.

The IELTS Writing Task 1 can prove to be quite difficult, especially if you have not prepared for it. There are some things that all graph or chart types have in common and other things that make them quite distinct. The type of language you’ll need will be different depending on the graph or chart that comes up on the day of the exam. However, the one thing they all have in common is the structure.

In this video, I would like to share my thoughts and strategy to write IELTS Writing Task 1. This video has three parts where the first part discusses the idea generation and analysis of an info-graphic data, i.e. Pie chart and table, and the second part describes the structure of IELTS Writing Task 1 based on the question. Finally, I will give you a sample answer for the same question and analyzing the important aspects of data comprehension.

To make this video, I have taken the questions from a past test, which is published by Cambridge University Press. This video is only for Keralites because I use Malayalam language for the explanation. I hope you enjoy this writing sample and learn something new. The sample answer provided in this video is taken from a website, and I had changed the structure and grammar a little bit. I found this answer is accurate and likely to get a high band score in the test.
