Supply shortages may affect Black Friday sales

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says shortages of goods because of supply chain problems will affect Black Friday sales as retailers are not confident they will get more product by Christmas.

Mr Greenwood said the shortages may force retailers to hold back on discounting goods to ensure there will be some left for the rest of the year.

He said goods with computer chips would be subject to this as there is a worldwide shortage - while other electronics may also be affected.
