South Africa Vaccine Advisor Says Omicron Symptoms Appear to Be Mild

Barry Schoub, chairman of South Africa's Ministerial Advisory Committee on Vaccines, says that early data on the omicron variant suggest mild symptoms, even though there are a large number of cases in which fully-vaccinated people cases are being infected. He made the comments in an interview on "Bloomberg Surveillance: Early Edition."
