Germany is considering sending PzH 2000 to Ukraine

The German government is processing a decision on the transfer of additional PzH 2000 ACS to Ukraine.
The point is that guns from Germany and Italy might be added to the PzH 2000 howitzers that are expected to arrive in Ukraine from the Netherlands.
“We are holding negotiations with various partners to provide effective support to Ukraine – also in the field of artillery. There are multiple options that are currently reviewing,” the spokeswoman for the German Defense Ministry said.
It is reported that the problem with the transfer of howitzers might appear due to the fact that only about 40 of the 119 Panzerhaubitze 2000 in the Bundeswehr are now on the move and usable.
Therefore, the military is critical to the decision about sending equipment to Ukraine.
Though the Dutch armed forces were also sceptical about the transfer of PzH 2000 to Ukraine, the government still approved it.
Previously, the German experts offered training for the Ukrainian soldiers on ACS, which will arrive from the Netherlands.
In addition, the German Bundestag has supported the provision of heavy weapons to Ukraine.
