In his last appearance at the White House Press Briefing, National Security Spokesperson Admiral John Kirby had a chance to easily dismiss a question about Saudi Arabia possibly infecting President #Biden intentionally when he visited the Crown Prince earlier in July. Kirby overreacted just enough for me to take a second look at the answer he gave.
Additionally, relations between #Russia and the US remains poor, and is getting worse by the hour. It’s been reported Russia plans to withdraw its support and operations for the International Space Station which they have been a major partner since its inception. The US frequently utilizes Russia’s space program for supplies and other transport options.
With that backdrop in place, US citizens remain in captivity inside Russia, with the U.S. now publicly semi-negotiating to put pressure on Moscow.
