There was a hidden adult joke! Since most of us were children when we watched this movie, this joke might have gone right over our heads. Two of Lightning McQueen’s biggest fans, Mia and Tia, go to introduce themselves to the racecar. After an excitable introduction, the two cars flash their headlights, getting themselves escorted away by security and leaving behind a shocked Lightning. Flashing the headlights is of course meant to represent the two quite literally flashing themselves at him, as you would by lifting your shirt.
