Over the course of a handful of episodes, we’ve been tuning an already-capable late model Ford Bronco into a more serious off-roader. But we haven’t gotten too serious—yet. And that’s why we’re calling this the end of “Stage 1” in our Bronco build series. In the Stage 1 segment, we've installed some of the core upgrades you’d expect: a bigger wheel and tire package, suspension lift, some off-road bumpers, and off-road lighting. Now, we could stop here and have an off-roader that’ll easily tackle plenty of trails around here, but in Stage 2 we’ll go even further with some more off-road upgrades, so stick around to see what's next.
Here are some of the parts we used in Stage 1 of our Bronco upgrade video series.
