G20 delegates receive magnificent welcome; ambience leaves them dazzled

Agra’s majestic welcome left no stones unturned to impress the G20 delegates who arrived at the airport on February 10. With G20 meetings scheduled to be held in UP’s Agra, the city is all dolled-up in several traditional colours. Indian traditions were at their peak as the delegates were welcomed in an Indian style with garlands and shawls. From flowers-enveloped carriage to traditional drums at the entry gate, the airport looked more like a royal party venue. Witnessing the hint of culture-packed welcome at the airport, the delegates were left dazzled and touched.
India is holding many G20 meetings in several states as it currently holds the G20 presidency. The country is scheduled to host the G20 Summit in September this year.
