The Buriganga River is a river in Dhaka and Narayanganj districts in the north-central region of Bangladesh. The length of the river is 29 km, the average width is 302 m and the nature of the river is serpentine. The identification number of the river Buriganga given by the Bangladesh Water Development Board or "Paubo" is River No. 48 in the north-central region.
